my outfit, along with my background, was all about mixing textures. all the pieces in my outfit are in a similar color palette, so mixing three very different textures together doesn't seem so crazy. the dress is a little bit flashy with the glitter, but the vest seems to make it okay for day. it was a nice day, so i only wanted to add a light layer for tights. this pattern is pretty classic and the color was more muted, so not to make them look too thick. this was fun and girly, but i brought a little boyish playfulness into it with the shoes. i felt great and like i say, when you feel good about what you are wearing, you have more confidence in other areas of your life.
