it was a beautiful day for this major milestone! i have gone 300 days on my challenge. it has been hard. not that i cant come up with new looks, its that there are just some days were i just want to throw on a dress and add nothing to it. as i kept getting closer and closer to the big number, it gave me the motivation to just get there. now, i just have to think 65 more days and then it is a year. the change of seasons has been good for me so far. it allowed me to wear the same pieces in entirely different ways because of the change in temperatures. this spring seems to be a little different. i have a lot of pieces for a 70s boho look, but there are some styles i am dying to wear that i don't have. i love color blocking and want brighter, bolder pieces. i would love some colored denim, especially some j brand pairs (though they don't really fit in my budget). and i would really like a little bit of lace. we will just have to see where 65 more days takes me.

as for todays look, i spent most of the day in my leather jacket. i was so happy to be out of a winter jacket! you couldn't see the black blazer, so i thought the jacket looked good with my brown slouchy bag and leopard shoes. i would call this downtown chic. as for night, it was an easy switch. i changed my shoes for some red heels that always make me feel just a little bit sexy. i added a big necklace and a navy clutch. i still wore the leather jacket out, but with heels it had a more night time feel. it felt good to throw on some heels and head out for the night.
