mfw: dolce & gabbana.

floral, lots of floral, lace, beading, and so much color. it was playful, retro. think 1950s summertime in italy.

collared.

wearing:
shirt - liberty of london for brooks brothers (goodwill)
sweater - f21
shorts - a&f
shoes - urban outfitters

as that crisp in the air gets even more noticeable, what better way to transition to fall than with a few layers on top paired with some denim boyfriend shorts. i was meeting a friend for sunday brunch where we sat outside at local. it was warm in the sun but with a cool breeze it was nice to have long sleeves and a light sweater. i love the print of this shirt. a liberty of london print, that is. if you like prints, but are afraid they will overwhelm you, layer them with a neutral color. this way you will only have small section of the print popping out. to keep this buttoned up look from looking too stuffy, the relaxed sweater and casual denim make it more playful.
perfect sunday look, i think.
what do you wear on sundays?

abandoned.

wearing:
jumpsuit - h&m
blazer - gap
shoes - cynthia vincent for target

to make a jumpsuit work ready, or maybe just a little less sexy, all you have to do is add a blazer. it gives it a little more structure and covers up a little bit of skin. i had this jumpsuit for awhile, but have only worn it this one time. unfortunately, i didn't get to wear it without anything over it and now as fall is here, i get to layer it up to wear it for the current season.  i guess i can always wear it out for an evening with just an overcoat.
