sunday brunch with a few lovely ladies before baking and wrapping presents. a simple dress in a solid color is the perfect piece for layering. since this dress was in a neutral color, it was easy to pair with black and gray, with a few added pop of color (mostly there to keep me warm). this is one of the few times i really like leggings. they are great for wearing with something on the shorter side, so you have extra coverage (more than with tights) and for wearing inside boots. they are thinner than jeans, so there is no bunching.sweater abercrombie & fitch, dress gap, leggings target, hat topshop, scarf nyc, boots luckybrand.
