from the roots of maine fashion.

l.l.bean's signature line for fall 2010 is so on trend using sheer fabrics, short suits (in corduroy no less), and bringing back the lady with feminine dressing reminiscent of the 60s, all the while not loosing sight of the rustic maine feel l.l.bean has been know for since the beginning. it is modern without even being modern. they have not strayed away from the original l.l.bean looks. they have just made the cuts slimmer and everything more tailored. however, they have upped the ante with their accessories and shoes, which are definitely statement pieces. it makes me yearn for fall layering, though i am not ready to give up the summer heat just yet. and i really can wait a little longer to break out my bean boots because you know what that means... snow.
