so there is nothing new about the shirt, but this season it is all about being buttoned all the way up. i, for one, is all for this trend. i love this look. it is easy to wear. easy to dress up or dress down. and it works for all shapes and sizes. take a sweet looking shirt, buttoned up, and wear with an edgy bottom like a leather skirt. or take a sheer sleeveless version, add a bra top, and a full mid length skirt for a ladylike look with just a hint of naughty. and, as you can see, this trend works well with our next one, color blocking.

color blocking is also an easy trend. it is also super fun. you can add a few pops of color with your accessories or tights or you can wear a head-to-toe outfit of different colors. you can try it out by wearing a dress that is already multicolored to see how it feels. if you like it, you can move on two pair a simple top in a bright color with your favorite colored denim. if you really want to up the ante, try an outfit with three or more different colors. you can start out by using different shades of similar colors. to get more advanced, try picking opposite colors on the color wheel!
