this trend is the most updated version of color blocking. not only are you wearing blocks of different colors together, but you are wearing it in other geometric shapes as well. this is a bold look, but is easiest worn in a dress. different from color blocking, geometric prints can come in small sizes and can be less overwhelming.
if you didn't know new york fashion week has just started and fall looks are starting to come down the runway. i thought it was important to point out that the newest season of bcbg max azria is showing very similar looks (but with touches of fur), so if you find a geometric print look you love, buy it! it will take you into next season and get you more bang for your buck!

whether its bold tropical prints or giant sunflowers or tiny flowers, all floral prints are welcome this season. this season, it is not about being girly. these prints are bold, abstract, sophisticated, and yes, pretty. you can take this look head-to-toe or just add a touch in your accessories. seeing as this print seems to stay around, this is a money saving trend. there is a good chance you have some already in your closet. if you are buying new, buy them in a classic silhouette or a print you won't get tired of so you are able to keep them around much longer.

last year when we first saw this shoe shape appear, most were a little apprehensive. they were a bit of a reminder of some of those choice fashion trends of the 90s. this year, however, the shapes are a little less extreme. they are coming in different heights and maybe a little less flat.
hey, if you are one who hates heels, these are prefect for you. you can still get height without a scary heel.

these looks go along with the very present feminine look we saw all over the runways. being found mostly in shades of white, they are prefect for spring. but for a little bit more excitement look for items in bold colors. this trend still works if you are not the girly-girl type. just pair them with pieces with more structure. chose a bold shoe with a thick heel or wedge. pair it with leather or denim for a bit of an edge. whatever way (or ways) you chose to wear it, this trend is easy to wear for everyone.
