nothing feels better than going back to your favorite look. i love a high waisted skirt with a tshirt tucked in. it is simple, but always looks nice. i paired it with a grandpa sweater, with sparkly buttons of course. i wore my favorite go-to boots because they are easy, go with everyone, and added a color to offset the black.
i think i wore every long sleeve shirt i own this week. i needed something to wear under this amazing blazer vest and at the same time try to stay warm. i like mixing black and blue together and nothing worked better than black skinnies and platforms.
i like the contrast between a pretty silk dress and a chunky knit sweater. it has been so cold at work that layering a long sleeve shirt under my dress with a sweater was the only way to stay warm. i wore gray tights and purple booties. it was a nice mix of color with different shaded of gray.
this outfit was very simple, but with the added accessories, necklace and boots, it looks pretty chic. i layered a light blue long sleeve shirt over a bright pink one. the lower half of was all black, but a cool pair of shoes adds dimension. the statement necklace dresses up the plain tshirts.
when i put this together, i thought the sweater would be bigger and the skirt would be more fitted. i didn't get the exact look i wanted, but when i was late for work, it was good enough.
wear two sweaters! i cant wear this sweater with a jacket and when it is cold i need added layers. i layered two sweaters over a tshirt and threw on a scarf. i chose a bright one for some extra color. perfect for a trip to trader joe's after a day of cleaning.
we did a small event at work for the holiday weekend and we had to wear all black and the got to have one eye all done up. i love this dress even more now that i am looking at the pictures. people told me it was flattering, but i didn't realize how small it actually made me look. it is pleated in the middle and then goes out in the skirt just a bit. the shorter length of the dress makes the shape more prominent. and not to mention the rouched sleeves!
